Sarah L. Brennan obtained her MChem (Hons) Chemistry degree from the University of Central Lancashire in 2021. During this time, she has become interested in the medical application of organic chemistry. She is now pursuing her Ph.D in synthetic organic chemistry under the guidance of Dr Robert B. Smith. Her research focuses on the synthesis and analysis of squaraine dyes as novel antimicrobial agents.
